Barton switch and socket boxes are manufactured in two depths, 35mm and 47mm and supplied in one gang (72mm x 72mm nominal) or two gang (132mm x 72mm nominal) configurations. For easy fitting of electrical accessories, each box has at least one adjustable lug.

Barton switch and socket boxes are manufactured from high quality galvanised steel and are supplied in accordance with BS4662.

All Barton switch and socket boxes include a brass earth terminal allowing multiple earth wires to be assembled from inside or outside the box. The knockouts provide a flexible cable entry system.
